Volkswagen has announced that June 15 will be the day that the all-new 2011 Jetta will be revealed. We’ll cover the story here, or you can check out the unveiling on that day at 11:25 on VW’s website.
The 2011 Volkswagen Jetta has been spotted recently and completely uncovered in the Detroit area. The latest sedan will maintain the Jetta’s handsome styling, and it will also prominently feature the familiar update to the front fascia which has been seen on other new VW models, such as the upcoming Touareg and updated Golf and GTI.
Unfortunately, the increasingly popular diesel-powered Jetta TDI model will likely not make it to showrooms until the beginning of next year. However, this model is expected to receive the same 140 horsepower direct-injected four cylinder unit of the current Jetta TDI. Although it won’t receive an update, this diesel powertrain remains popular among new car buyers and seeks demand among those looking for used cars in Manassas thanks to its strong fuel economy.
